Convenient Location and Friendly Host
The place is situated in a nice local area that's still easily accessible by car. 🚗 I received a friendly welcome from the host here.

On the whole, it’s ideal base for having fun and exploring Durham.
The bathroom here is a bit small.

This apartment exceeded all expectations; will be back. We stayed 4 nights here, even so it was a very comfortable experience. The location was peaceful on a working farm, and had everything you needed. Also, we enjoyed that it was close to Durham, the front garden, and castle...

Great location for exploring the area. The setting is beautiful and not too far from the town and surrounding areas. You can also enjoy walks along the old railway line and visit the nearby friendly local pub. It’s worth mentioning that this place is located on a working farm. 🌿

I had a very comfortable stay, with a great location near a friendly local pub along an old railway line that's now a long-distance path, and the surroundings were wonderful.

Very spacious and comfortable cottage with modern amenities and a country feel. Well-equipped kitchen and spacious bedrooms. Close to a local pub serving food and a short drive to Durham. Great base for the Kynren experience.
Felt so taken care of, no complaints.

Fantastic cottage, beautiful decor, really spacious living and kitchen area, comfy settees and beds too. Great location for visiting the local countryside. We arrived by train and caught a bus from the centre of the city. A short walk brought you to the cottage which has lovely views. We walked to the friendly local pub along the old railway line which is now a long distance path. Lots of opportunities for local walks and bike rides. Would love to return and stay longer!
The only thing we found a little uncomfortable was the fact that we couldn't turn the heating off at night or regulate each room. This has to be done by the owner and they suggest opening windows which means the heating is continually clicking on and off if you are a light sleeper.

The cottage was beautifully referred and well located in the countryside. We were able to book it at a great price and drive just a short distance to our meeting the next day. the surroundings were peaceful and quiet, and the owners were extremely helpful and friendly.
The ensuite bathroom off the master bedroom was quite cold due to the stone tiles. It would have been helpful to have more control over the heating in each room.

The value for money at this Durham country cottage was exceptional. The room was beautifully decorated, spacious, and had luxurious bathrooms. The location was perfect, with easy access to the city and stunning walks right from the doorstep. The staff were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
Hotel breakfast could have been better with a wider variety of options.

The beds, pillows, and linens were of good quality and ensured a restful sleep. The location was peaceful, yet conveniently close to supermarkets and nearby attractions.
The bathroom lock needed attention. The ensuite bathroom off the master bedroom was freezing due to the stone tiles, making it uncomfortable for late-night visits.

We had a great stay in a lovely location near a pub and castle, and the owner was very helpful with tips and suggestions, plus we had access to a seating area, ironing facilities, and a writing table.

We had a fantastic time staying at this beautiful country cottage. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the high standard of the property. The open plan living area was spacious and comfortable, with top-notch furniture and a well-equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were lovely, with the master bedroom and ensuite being particularly luxurious. The Jack and Jill bathroom setup for the other two bedrooms was a great feature. The cottage's idyllic setting on a working farm was peaceful, and we even got to see various birds and young hares in the garden. it was a top quality property that we felt right at home in.
All was 👍🏼

The cottage was nicely decorated and had all the necessary amenities. We were pleasantly surprised to find a delicious cake waiting for us upon arrival, and the beds were very comfortable. The location was also convenient for exploring the surrounding area.
That there were not enough board games for entertainment on rainy evenings. Additionally, the temperature control in the ensuite bathroom was not great, as the stone tiles made it freezing cold to walk on in the middle of the night.
